MacFreelancer is a free service to folks with a problem to solve, that serves as a venue to connect buyers and service providers in a virtual auction marketplace. As a neutral facilitator, MacFreelancer is not directly involved in the actual transactions between users of the website and doesn't charge fees based on the cost of the job. It is just a well-oiled channel between software-capable people and people who need those skills. Utilize the expertise offered here! With simplicity as the guiding principle, MacFreelancer was designed to help folks who "can do" meet folks who "need done" without imposing a financial burden on either side of the transaction. Developers pay low subscription fees, Buyers have free access and get their job done. Post your project at no obligation. If you are struggling to automate or enable some part of your enterprise, I urge you to leverage our service and hire from among these accomplished programmers and computer professionals. With so many programs becoming cross platform, your project will benefit from the expertise of developers working in both Mac and PC environments. |

Buyers: Post your development projects to be bid for free. No escrow accounts or hidden fees. Buyers have the means to post closed bids. It's easy to post your Project. Once logged in, in your Account Manager there is a link provided which guides you through the process. Feel free to post as many different projects as you need. You are free to post projects using sealed bids. Only yourself and the Freelancer who Bid can see that amount. We have provided a Private Message Board (PMB) to discuss your project with Freelancers who have bid on it. Once you have chosen the Freelancer for your project, you will fill out a Contract Development Spec (CDS) which includes all the pertinent information, and forms a legal binding document. Once you submit the CDS, the system saves this as a PDF file, and the project is awarded to the chosen Freelancer. In turn, the Freelancer receives email notification and is required to fill out the remaining portions of the CDS. The PDF is saved, and is always available for download. Once you've awarded a Project, you and the Freelancer are free to establish the method of payment, both before and after the project has been completed. Unlike other services, MacFreelancer remains a neutral party. We do not require escrow accounts, nor hold monies earmarked for payment. This allows us to keep the transfer of funds totally free to you. At the Freelancers and Buyers option, MacFreelancer shall act as a PayPal fiduciary interface for the limited purpose of collecting and disbursing funds. |
